Jee mains score is the base for admission here. One needs to qualify the same & then has to participate in JOSAA counselling/ CSAB another option is available when seats are vacant the jee mains qualified students can apply for spot counselling too. With jee mains marks 75% marks is must for cbse students & top 20 percentile for state board students. There is no GD/ Interviews for this. The lesser fee & being a central university make everyone to choose inplace of any private colleges the same applied for me too.
Choosing ECE points 2 things the emerging industries of semiconductors, solar cells, renewable energy sources motivates to choose this program over other & other thing is that I am not interested to choose cse/ IT branch, there are good facilities & bad faculties too. The good one teaches very efficiently & amazingly letting you familiar with many opportunities for one's career & personalities speaking of some not so good faculties depicts that the faculty is well qualified but not being able to deliver things efficiently/ their teaching method isn't that good. The curriculum/ course divided by many subjects in which each subject do has 5 chapters. The exam is conducted more or less monthly 2 class tests, 1 end semester & practical exams( internal & external) can be tackled with sufficient efforts paper won't be that tough as you will know the important topics in every chapters by studying the whole syllabus & attending the classes
