- I like the campus life too much we enjoyed a lot
- And i like faculty members our teachers for their polite behaviour
Dislikes
- There is no hostels for students which make some difficulties for outside students
- There is no as such placement or internship facilities.
Remarks :
Here are many reasons for choosing this college, this college is located in a very good place the transportation system near the college is very good , and there is many other reasons for choosing this college, New Alipore College is a A+ grade college under calcutta University, the admission fees or other expenses for the course In this college are very affordable in my opinion. My college life experience is just outstanding, the faculty members are very helpful and good , they are very disciplined and good and the most good thing about this college is there is no ragging and also union members are don't forced you for joining union or any political group . The admission process is very simple of this college there is no competitive exam for admission after 12th pass you apply for admission in which course, subject you want admission starts in June-August month in a year, you can apply online and its depend on your number that you getting admission or not .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because B.S.c is a very good option for any 12th pass student and this course helps you a lot in future. B.S.C can lead to many carrer options, including those based on natural sciences , Mathematics, technology etc. The faculty members are very good and helpful teachers are very talented, skillful and well educated, and their teaching skill is very good. There is semester system means in three years 6th times exams are conducted, the time gap between exams are 4-6 months and the exams is quite hard.
Internships Opportunities :
No i don't opted for any internship or placement but some students from journalism, or some other subjects they got some internship opportunities based on their skill and subject overall the placement facilities are not good
Placement Experience :
No there is no as such placement and internship in this college and subjects,only few subject and course gives you placement but it is very rare . But after getting the degree you are able to apply for Master degree and able to getting chances for attempting government job exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees of the course i choose is approximately 10000 rupess and its a 3 years course . If you take tiution for this course ,then your total tiution fees will be approximately 34000 . The registration happens two times in a year at the time of semester exam the registration fees is around 900- 1100 rupess and development fees, lab fees are included into main fees which i discuss first and there is no compulsory charges during the course. The main fees , registration fees is same for everyone there is no discount for reserved category. Here scholarships facility are available, like swami vivekananda merit cum means government scholarship for getting of this scholarship you have to score minimum 60% in your semester exams, it is a very good scholarship if you are doing B.S.C course then you get 18000 rupess for this scholarship , there is one more scholarship name oasis which is not for everyone just for reserved like schedule caste, schedule tribe category.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good , we celebrate many festivals in the college like Saraswati pujo,Basant utsab etc. College fest are conducted one time in a year In January or February month. Many types of knowledgeable books are present in library and many classrooms have projectar which helps a lot for better understanding of a topic There is a group for playing cricket , badminton and there is common room where you can play indoor games like carrom,table tennis etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I don't know much about hostel rooms because there is no residential facilities for students if you coming from the outside you get rent rooms in this area, which is quite high but you can get rooms easily .

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Review of my collage
Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
