Remarks :
I chose this college because of its very good education and also many extra curriculars. Yes, group discussions are also conducted in college for which we get many benefits for various interviews and exams. Admission process is done as per our merit list.and yes I am prepare for this rounds.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I enrolled in this course because I loved studying zoology. There are total 6 faculty members in our department and each of them has done this phd. And they read us very carefully.We have semesters every 6 months. And best I don't find much difficulty because 6 months is enough time to study.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies offer internships to third-year students from prestigious institutions like IITs, BITS, IIITs, and top NITs. significant educational activity aimed at understanding goals through investigation and problem solving, often using physical materials.We have to work on various data entry projects.
Placement Experience :
In our college there is placement opportunity but the percentage of selecting is very low which is college should focus on and bring more companies as it will engage students to focus more on and it is very important too?
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay total semester fee 10500 per annum and 5650 per month for admission. 2000 separately for lab. And there are some mandatory fees to pay.We have a scholarship called Vivekananda which gives 18000 for science students and 12000 for arts students. 50% marks in every semester can apply for this scholarship which is very helpful for every student.
Campus Life :
We have a Farewell and Freshers each year. We have about 100000 books in our library which we need very much. We have 1 annual sports in a year.And wall magazine, drawing competition, photography competition are these extracurriculars. We have a group in college where we discuss a lot and also have a girls common room.And all the details of our college are given on the website.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college has a canteen where food is prepared and served in a very hygienic manner where all types of food are available. Our college has two hostels for girls and boys. And there are some processes to be followed.For example, you have to register and pay every month. We have a PG next to the college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
