Okay so i chose Maulana Azad medical college because it is one of the top medical colleges in India just after AIIMS DELHI. One of the most prestigious medical colleges in India. Secondly in order to get into the college i had to pass one competetive exam known as NEET exam. Maximum marks is 720. So the ones who scores the most in this exam gets the priority to choose the best colleges first. As there is only selected seats.
I chose these course because i really want to become a doctor one day. It has always been a dream for me to become one. Qualification's of the faculties are MBBS passed doctors. They are senior residents or MD or even higher . They either teach through PPT or just interacting with us. Term exams were conducted in a period of 3 months each and difficult level on s scale of 1-10 i would say 8
So every student after their final year is posted to a government run hospital preferably their college attached hospital and have to work for a year in which they get monthly stipend of around 20000 to 30000 depending on the state and college.
So once you get your MBBS degree you can either work as a mbbs passed put doctor in any hospital (not recommended) or go for further studies like any specialist. Obviously many students opt for this but you have to pass a very difficult exam for this.
Okay so the tuition fees for one year is 2300 rupees in total. Admission cost me around 6000 rupees . There is no scholarships. As it is already a government funded college, the fees as you can see that i mentioned is already very affordable.
So there are so many fests. I will mention the most popular ones. The first one is synapse, it is our college fest and any one from any college can come to our fest and have fun. It is normally conducted in the month of October or November end and it gets sponsorships from so many companies. The next one is hostel fest. It is also very popular. Almost every book you need is available in the library. We have AC in every classroom as well. There are also so many sports group. Almost all. You can join anyone or multiple groups depending on your preference and participate in every event.
So my current hostel fees is around 2000 rupees yearly. The quality of the hostel mess is very fine . It very affordable since it is a government funded institute. A thali cost only 50 rupees per person and it you can refill it. Isn't that great.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
