The MBBS course at Maulana Azad Medical College offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to build a strong foundation in medical science. The faculty is highly qualified, with many holding advanced degrees and research credentials. They use interactive teaching methods that combine theory with practical applications. I chose this course due to its reputation for academic excellence and a hands-on approach to learning. Term exams are conducted twice yearly and are challenging but fair, ensuring a thorough understanding of the material while maintaining academic rigor. At the end of each year we have our professional examination

Life at Maulana Azad Medical College is vibrant with a blend of academics and social activities. The campus offers a range of clubs, including Gurukool, which focuses on extracurriculars beyond studies, alongside art, dance, and music societies. The annual fest, Synapse, is held in February, bringing students together for cultural events. The library is well-stocked with books and journals, while classrooms are equipped with modern amenities. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged, creating a balanced environment for personal development. Students also run various social groups, enhancing peer interaction.
For girls pursuing MBBS at Maulana Azad Medical College, the UG hostels include Sanjeevni and Mother Teresa Hostels until the 3rd year, followed by Anandibai Hostel for final years. The infrastructure is decent, with 3-seater rooms in the 1st year, 2-seater in the 2nd, and single-seaters for final year students. Each corridor has 4 washrooms and bathrooms for 7-8 rooms. IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
