- The College infrastructure was good and clean and the faculty members were very talented and they teach the students with the best of their knowledge.
- The Campus life was good and fun as their were events and fests along with different sports.
Dislikes
- Their infrastructure can be much better if they renovate sometimes.
- Their hostel foods can be much better if they keep an eye on it.
Remarks :
I didn't face any interviews or written tests or group discussions. I choose this college because i liked the whole syllabus their infrastructure also the word of mouth was good of this college. The good aspects were the professors were very talented and their teaching skills was very good along with the study materials in the library and the bad aspects was the campus was very small compared to other colleges. The admission process was very smooth and their were mock tests before every semesters and they take class test every month and 40% was the passing marks for everyone.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The law course was very interesting so i choose this course to make a bright future. The professors were very talented they all had a PHD degree some professors also had Research degree and they teach each subject with very authentically. They were particular about the subjects, there were 1 tests every month and two semesters exam every year and before every semesters there were one mock test to prepare for the finals.
Internships Opportunities :
No, i didn't opted for any internship instead of that i got a direct job after 3 months of the completion of my course so i believe the course was good for my career and everyone will get some oppurtunity after the completion of the course from this reputed college.
Placement Experience :
My plans was to join a company as a lawyer. However I didn't got any campus placements but i got a job based on my profile in Hyderabad. The package was around 4 LPA. I got a good oppurtunity based on my profile and currently i am working in the same company so its around 2 years.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have paid a total fees of INR 25000 per year including tution fees, development fees, lab fees and other compulsory charges and admission fees of INR 5000 extra at the time of admission. The batchmates of BA LLB also had the same fee structure. I didn't provided with any scholarship at that time.
Campus Life :
The campus life was very interesting and fun. There were one fest every year and one freshers party and one farewell party every year for the students. The library was big and it has all the books, articles and memos available which is required for the course. There were sports like football and cricket organized by the college. There were no social groups and clubs as such.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't opted for hostel as my house was very nearby but the hostel infrastructure was good. I didn't opted for nay hostel rooms and if someone have to apply for the hostel then they can contact the reception and get registered for it after paying the hostel fees.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
