- The infrastructure and the surrounding environment is so soothing. The whole institute is covered with trees and it is also very neat and clean.
- The faculties are very friendly and are always eager to solve the problems of the students.
Dislikes
- The institute sometimes does delay in taking exams and creates a lot of confusion among the students about their decision.
- The transpareincy of the decision taken is sometimes poor.
Remarks :
This college was near my hometown and it was also popular. The teachers were good and the students who passed out from here got a great job opportunity. To get admission you have give an examination after getting passed in it you will be eligible.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it will help me further in my govt. exams. The faculties are highly educated and very proactive and their approach is very friendly. The teaching staffs are also very keen to teach us various things in depth. There are timely term exams within 3 to 4 months and it is decent.
Internships Opportunities :
I have no plans for attending the interviews as I want a government job and taking preparation for it. Although there is a high opportunity of getting a great job via campusing but I am a little biased towards government jobs.
Placement Experience :
Various companies like TCS, Wipro, Jindal, Reshmi and many agricultural farms come for the placements. You have to give an exam to be eligible for the interview or placement. Minimum to minimum package which is offered is 160000 rupees per annum and the highest package which has been offered is upto 25 lakhs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is very simplified and also very affordable. The institution does not provide any scholarship but you can get a scholarship from state which is Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Scholarship.
Campus Life :
Various types os fests are conducted like freshers party, farewell party, foundation day and a grand fest. Farewell parties are usually conducted during June or July. Freshers party is arranged in the year end and the foundation party is conducted during August. Our institute also promotes sports and every year end a sports competition is organised.
Hostel Facilities :
The application process is very smooth and hastle free. The rooms in the hostel are really very neat and clean. The room rent is too much low. The quality of the food which is provided is very good in compare to other hostels.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
