I choose this college because of its nirf ranking. During my admission Hindu College was ranked 2nd in Nirf Ranking for consecutive 3 years and in 2024 it ranked to 1st throughout the India. Infrastructure was so nice. Presently students need to give CUET exam as entrance for admission in Hindu College. And the cut off is often more than 650. And there are 2 rounds of councelling.
I was very good at maths in my school so I opted B.Sc. Maths for my graduation. The faculty was very qualified. Most of them were PhD's and rest were M.Sc. in there specialisation. Teaching method was really awesome. We need to give internal exams in each sem which were considered for semester exams. Exams were not difficult at all.
I didn't opted any internship during my college days but some of my friends and classmates opted some internships. There were some private firms which offer internship to students with a stipend of about 20000 Rs per month. Like Fintask private limited, Next Gem tech firm.
Students just need to get pass in there 2nd year exams to appear for placements. Some of my friends also took part and few of them also got placement too. Average package was about 10-12 lakh. There was no fee concession on category based reservation. We were having two scholarships, one was inspire scholarship which was 60000 Rs yearly with a 20000 Rs project ammount. And other scholarship was by college for bpl students.
We were having Mecca as our annual fest, whose average students gathering is 20000. It's conducted in February. And Diwali fest too which is conducted mostly in October or November. Library was full of all books and journals. There was a big cricket playground, basket ball court and bollyball court area too. Students were using some Instagram handles for college.
I was a daily comer so I don't have much idea about the hostel mess. But the canteen was nice there. Some of my friends love in rented rooms and pg. They were living near Vijaynagar and Malka Ganj. And some were living near patel chest.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in .
