Remarks :
Hindu College is constantly ranked first in science and arts courses and second in commerce courses. It's been almost 125 years that it has produced such powerful alumni network and nation wide reputation. This made me choose this college. For getting admission to any college of university of Delhi just like hindu College. You need to appear for common university entrance test conducted by national testing agency in India. The syllabus of this test is almost same as the subjects you studied in your class 11 and class 12.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is rich , it delves into the depth of mathematical concepts and provides practical experience where we can apply mathematical concepts in real life. The faculty of mathematics department of my college is very experienced and very helpful. They would literally guide you and interaction is so good. They guided us how to prepare for semester exams which are conducted twice a year . The exams are not at all difficult rather just solving previous year question papers solves the purpose and prepares you well for exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is almost about 26000 for this course. Other than that you don't need to pay any fees. No registration fees or development fees or lab fees was taken from us. Only the department fund needs to be paid. Financial aids are available in the college. Many scholarships are also provided time to time according to need and merit basis. Campus Life :
Life at campus is very happening and engaging. The annual fest of my college is the Mecca which invites big stars like sunidhi chauhan and astha gill. The library is huge and you can get literally every book you need . All the classrooms are built beautifully but not all are air conditioned. We have a huge sports complex consisting of basketball court, cricket pitch and much more. Many societies are there in the college like internship cell, placement cell, finance and investment cell, 180 degrees consulting, enactus etc.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
