College with good placements and faculty but not that great infrastructure

- Good labs and other halls and auditoriums
- Good experienced faculty that understands the students and helps them accordingly
Dislikes
- The sports facilities are not that great
- The infrastructure of the main campus building and hostels is not that good
Remarks :
The admission for BTech in this college happens through JEE Main exam and I was allotted this college as this was the best option that I had among the other colleges that I was being awarded and there are no interviews or anything as such for admission in this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I wanted to be a software engineer and NIT Raipur provides a good environment for nurturing your skills and the exams happen two times in a semester mid terms exams and end term exams along with practical exams
Internships Opportunities :
I have not yet opted for nay internships till now but the placement cells provide good internship opportunities for everyone and if you have a good enough resume with good projects and knowledge about the subject being taught then for the most part you can get an internship easily
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are pretty good for my branch IT and there is also a dedicated placement cell made by seniors to help us crack interviews and internships and provide us a pathway to do it and the average package for my brach goes for nearly 16-17 LPA and the highest goes for something like 65-70 LPA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is divided on the basis of semesters and for each semester the tuition fee comes around 60000 inr and then there are other miscellaneous fees as well which all in all turns out to be nearly 160000 a year which is not including hostel fees and other expenses and many scholarships are also offered here mostly from different organizations of India such as reliance foundation and other scholarships like that
Campus Life :
Campus life is actually pretty good with good exposure of clubs and committees and the library is also really good where u can issue books as well The only slight downside is that the extracurricular activities are not that great I mean there is a ground and everything but the facilities are not quite par yet
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for hostel in the first year but now in the second year I am staying outside in a PG room else the condition of hostels are actually okay and the food quality is actually average for I am staying in a PG room in Samta colony which is about a km from the college

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .
Genuine review of NIT raipur
Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
