- Campus is good having enough class rooms and labs for each department and a student section.
- Faculty having a good experience of teaching and delivering the subject content.
Dislikes
- Some faculty is taking so much classes and giving so much assignment also.
- Campus life is like normal you have to buy a vehicle to explore.
Remarks :
No Gd or interview required admission is only basis on the Jee Mains rank and a category wise rank and home state and other state quota is also there on the time of taking admission. Category rank also matters. Admission is through Jossa and Csab councelling
Course Curriculum Overview :
I got this course on the basis of my rank. All faculties are almost done Phd and having a great experience of teaching almost 10 years and some faculties having experience of 20 years. Exams are two times each semester one is mid semester and other is end semester and exams are after every 2-3month .
Internships Opportunities :
Internship are offered on campus by D. E. Shaw 3 offers of 1.5per month for sde role and there are almost 10 companies offered internship. But there are low internship for the core branches on campus .
Placement Experience :
There is not active backlog to apply for placement on campus. Offers made by D. E. Shaw 3 offers this year and Phone Pe 3-6 offers this year and many companies yet to come this year. Highest is about 55 lpa and average is 13 lpa Profile offered are SDE , Data Analysts, Operation Manager and core offers for core branches. Percentage Placement is about 80-90? of top 4 branches and 60-70? of core branches. I plan to get a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees us different for different income level. SC/St and student having family income less than 1 lakh are exempted from tution fees and only have to pay 12k and student having family income between 1lakh to 5lakh have to pay 45k almost and student having family income greater than 5 lakh have to pay full fee.
Campus Life :
There are so many fests like Aavartan which is a science exhibition of the models and held in November. One is Eclektika which is cultural festival and one is ESummit it is a entrepreneurship fest held every year. There are so many book in the library and also plenty of journal and research paper. There is a gym and also a sports department from where anyone can take sports equipment and submit it back after playing and also there is sports fest also. All the clubs here run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are limited here. Hostels are only for top 20-25 performers of each branch. Hostel food is as usual. But mess was off on Sunday night you have go out for food. Yes there are pg outside the campus near saraswati nagar station.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
