Likes
- Faculty is good and helping. Campus is Greenish and huge.there is a gym and yoga hall with yoga teacher.
- Sports facilities are decent and all type of sports gears . Clubs are active in all field. Their are 23 clubs.
Dislikes
- Food quality in hostels is descent and hostels are old . Less seats for students in hostels.
- Sports ground is too small.their is no seprate ground for criket and football. Sports office incharge is rude and not issue Apratus to students frequently.
Remarks :
I have scored 96.91%ile in jee mains 2024 and get mechanical at nit raipur is a decent and good choice. The are no interview at collagefor admission it all handled by joosa. The are too many group discussion in collage with seniors and new students about classes, sports,clubs, committee etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I get mechanical engineering at nit raipur.I think it is the best choice in all other options than computer science in lower collages(nit Srinagar,iiit Kottayam etc. Teachers are good. They always help us in problems in practicals.their qualification is all are btech and PhD holders from reputed collages.
Internships Opportunities :
Yet I haven't any internship because I am in my 1st sem. According to seniors their are many options for internship with knowledge of coding, DSA,management etc. Here teachers helps their student for their jobs and internships. Startups is now trending in collages but here starts are less in audible.

Campus Life :
Campus is greenish and clean.In our campus hygiene is first priority.But ground are small.Their are 2 vollyball courts, 1 basketball court,criket ground, football ground and 1 or 2 tennis court in hostels. Each hostel has their sports,mantaince,message committe of students who manages all these things. Their is a problem that limited seats are assigned to students for hostels in 1st year. On later hostels are alloted by CGPA merit.
Hostel Facilities :
I got a seat in Chitrakot hostel at NIT Raipur bymy jee mains score. Here hostel allotment is not a easy case . There are only limited seats are in hostels for students so, students have to live in pgs in nearby areas. 2nd,3rd,4th year students get hostel by their CGPA in last year performance.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
