- The placement here are very good with a average salary increasing every year for all branch.
- unlike some other college you don't have to maintain 75% attendance here ,which will give you enough time to learn new skill
Dislikes
- does not have accommodation for all the students and students get hostel based, on their ranks and their CGPA afterwards.
- The institute does not have good infrastructure .The institute does not have enough auditoriums
Remarks :
Good Aspect : 1. Good Placement 2. Placement ratio is great 3. Friendly teachers 4. Many events related to placement and skill related topic. Bad aspect: 1. No campus life , you can't roam in college campus during late night 2. Fests are not up to mark 3. Hostels are sufficient
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose NITRR IT Branch because i was not getting top and mid tier NIT with CSE branch . Another reason was my branch also has good record with almost 90% placement ratio. Qualification of faculty: Almost Every faculty has a MTech and PHD Degree from various colleges varies from state GEC to NIT/IIT
Placement Experience :
Placement is good and number of students placed per year is almost 70 to 90 %.But you have to maintain a good CGPA with no backlog in order to apply for top companies . If no campus placement is offered there is still chance for you getting place with the referal from the seniors in which your branch department will help you.. Some of our top recruiters are accenture, adani, amazon , DE SHAW & Co ,Deloitte ,Deutsche Bank ,TVS ,Vedanta ,Oracle ,PWC
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1.Students belonging to Open ,EWS and OBC-NCL category whose family income is less than Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum shall get full remission of Tuition fees. 2.Students belonging to Open ,EWS and OBC-NCL category whose family income is btw Rs. 1.00 lakh and Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum shall get remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fees. Total amount for tuition fee will be 20,833 /- per Sem. 3. Students belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from payment of tuition fee.
Campus Life :
Campus life is not that great which is only main issue in NIT Raipur ,if you want to just study and want good placement then this will be good choice for you.. College infrastructure is decent but still there are things that needs improvement such as library, better sports equipment , replacement of system used in lab .... About Clubs and Committee : There are many different clubs and societies in college ... last year i was volunteer of Sanskriti which is cultural committee of NITRR which organize a three day cultural event in collage campus which includes DJ night, Celebrity night, and the various clubs like raga(music), nrityaam(dance club) perform .. Apart from this there is Innovation cell, entrepreneurship cell, finance and consulting club , raga, Nrityaam, go green, NSS, Click Club, Shaurya the sports committee
Hostel Facilities :
Quality of food in hostel is same as any other hostel food , infrastructure is decent ... Hostel is allotate on the basis of your CGPA .. But even if you don't get hostel there are very affordable PG and flat are available since collage is in center of Raipur

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.

The highest offer received in college is in crore. Around 85% of the students get placed at the end of the 4th year.
