- The Faculties I cannot say anything about the other branches , but my professors are absolutely great at what they do. They work on various other things other than teaching because it's their passion and always encourage us to join them too. I have a few faculties that have done their masters from abroad they always encourage us to persue MS . Our faculties have great connections all over the country. The government, the IITs , various projects you name it , and my professors will have a connection there, so this all is really helpful cause the recommendations comes easily if you are deserving and hardworking enough.If we do have a case of prodigy then no doubt our college will work to give the person enough to assess their highest potential.And lastly the faculties don't descriminate, we are allowed to ask and really ask as many times as we wish and the explanation is great every time .I know if I need any help with my studies I don't have to hesitate to reach out to the faculties .
- The exposure I got here is another thing I love about my college life I have had the benifit of meeting so many different kinds of people through my college it's almost increadible. I got to learn to keep a poker face , working with people I absolutely don't like. The fests here are also great way to meet more people.
Dislikes
- The campus could use more hostels You see the total strength of our college only considering the Btech is about 5000 And hostel seats are less than 1500 including girls and boys. Having the experience of living off and on the campus I can start that though I have better facilities outside. I still prefer my college hostel. Just the vibe there is very different. The fact that the college building and hostel is about a min walk is another good point.
- The infrastructure could use some help honestly.
Remarks :
I cleared Jee and my rank said this is the only college I'll could get. I am a COVID batch student , so taking another year to prepare for a better college was out of question. Hence here we are. The college is good, we have diversity, and the campus is green,love this actual. What I don't like about the college is even though they have a good amount of admission from other states, the number of seats in hostel are very limited. Only about 400 for girls and approx 1000 for boys. Other than that the facilities the permanent ones they are absolutely wonderful. Their work and experience in the subject reflects while teaching and since they are also involved in many projects around the country they share it all with us if we are interested that is.Interaction with seniors is great.Ragging is strictly, I mean strictly prohibited. The 3rd and 4th years are not allowed to enter the 1st year classroom without a permission letter, unofficial interactions are not allowed they happen though.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I mentioned above, can't say much about the temporary facilities, they are not very great, but the permanent faculties, they know what they teach, the practical examples, the stories from they were studying everything just makes things more understandable. Our faculties along with teaching us are part of various projects around the country. Just yesterday in our transportation lab we had a discussion about the various cases about the RS walls bulging in flyovers near raipur railway station. The RS walls were found to be non servicible and thus were dismantled and reconstructed. Overall it's inspiring to hear about them. Our faculties continuously encourage us to participate in events , lectures and research papers so to widen our perspective. Multiple guest lecturers are conducted from professors of IITS , last semester our civil department had an opportunity to get a guest lecture from Prof. Sandeep Singh Sir from IIT ROORKEE. Our faculties though strict , have best interest.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't personally done any internship from my college but my friends and few of my seniors have and their experience really has a good variety. You see the seniors from my department have worked under our faculties for not only internship but also for research papers and works around the campus.
Placement Experience :
We have a separate club for placements . TNP We have two professors incharge and remaining is handled by students from final and pre final year of the respective branch. The conveners are from 4th year and coordinators are from 3rd year . The interview and tests are conducted by the students only. The placement is about 50% And only 30% take up the job About 10% or we can take 15% opt for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Being a genral is difficult, our college really does have great facilities for every reservation. I have to pay 140000 every year and someone my parallel from SC/ST pays nothing and gets additional aid for any further expenses . The OBC pay about 15000 per semester.
Campus Life :
Well the social life is great, if you the right people. We have a lot of clubs and committees. You can say we have a club/committees for all the hobbies people my age can have Firstly we have committees The Sanskriti committee the main cultural committee of our college. Next comes the Shaurya the sports committee Then comes the technocracy the tech committee Go green the eco social committee Litraty the English committee and I think we have a couple more Then comes the club The dancing club The singing club The coding club And robotix club Literally it's really great to have so many options
Hostel Facilities :
I was allotted hostel in 1st year . The allocation for hostel is done for 1 complete year or 2 semesters we can say. The amount of flaws cannot be listed but the fact that it's college hostel really does overcome the problem. You see in case of girls,. there's separate hostel for the fresh batch and another hostel for remaining years So 1st year is like we rule is hostel, and the next year is all about reaching out to your seniors and learning from them .

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
