- Faculty Our faculty is really good .I am a first year MBBS student and the faculty I loved the most is of Anatomy department,becase HOD of our department is really good.
- Infrastructure Our college infrastructure is really good,it has not completed yet but buildings have been built and everything is there lab, library,grounds .
Dislikes
- Campus life Our campus is not ready yet so I dislike it .Rest there is nothing to dislike
- Faculty I personally didn't like biochemistry faculty because I feel boring in biochemistry subject.
Remarks :
I choose this college because of its location,my marks was average and on that rank I was getting place like jalpaiguri to stay ,which is near to mountain and Siliguri is also not far from jalpaiguri.Here weather reamains good.For getting admission in medical College we have to give a entrance exam called NEET conducted by NTA. I prepared for the exam by offline coaching in Unacademy kota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose medicine because I want to serve the people, society,the nation.And it is a noble profession.Our faculty is well qualified they are well experienced,all have 5-10 years teaching experience.Teaching methods in our college is really amazing because in most of the college teacher teaches from projector but our teachers uses black board to teach us which is really amazing.Our exams are conducted on time ,like semester exam and professional exam.
Internships Opportunities :
In medical profession internship is provided by college only .MBBS is a course of 5 years on which we have to study for 4.5 year and there is 1 year internship. In internship we come across a great exposure in which we actually learn how to treat a patient. We also get a good amount of stipend in internship around 32000 per month.
Placement Experience :
Honestly if we talk about medicine field there is no such placement like things in our field.After completing MBBS they join primary health care as a medical officer or go for post graduation for MD/MS. there is shortage of doctors in our country so everyone get job in government or private sector easily and they earn good amount of money
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Hello I am student of jalpaiguri government medical College and hospital, which is situated in west bengal.Our course duration is of 5 years,on which we have to pay fees for 4.5 years and there is 1 year internship for which we don't have to pay any money.Total fees is 45500 ,and around 10111 per year ,we have to pay the amount semester wise ,generally there is three semester in a session.Other then these there are many government and private scholarship provided. Government scholarship like Swami Vivekanand scholarship have an amount of 60000 per year and other scholarship like Aikyashree scholarship are there which have also a good amount.
Campus Life :
Our college have started in 2022 and our campus is under construction so honestly I can't tell about our campus life .But where our classes is conducted that area is enough for us ,there is everything.Our college have not conducted any fest yet till now ,but we conduct small small program.There is a central library in our college in which there is every kind of book related to medicine.
Hostel Facilities :
Our campus is not ready yet but our hostel is ready and it is of 10th floor . Ground floor have canteen and food is really amazing.Procedure of getting hostel is very easy ,after getting admission in college if you want to stay in hostel students section will alott you a hostel ,you just have to fill some forms.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
