The reason to choose this college because of my father ....he is suffering from a rate type of blood cancer and his hospital (Tata Medical Center) is just beside my college...I have got a reputable college at Delhi but still for this reason I have to choose this college.... I have gone through a internal exam for the entry for this college and they have checked my jee result during admission there is a cutoff of 60 %in total and for pcm is 50%per subject. The environment of the college is very good and very clean , the seniors are helpful, there are anti raging society, the college will sign you a anti ragging form during admission...which I found pretty much helpful..and I think every college should incude this . The above mentioned are the good points but the bad point is the faculty...there are many facilities who are non experienced and new commers ...so in some cases we are unable to understand properly...this is the only negetive point I faced till now .
I had a great intrest in coading since class 9 th when I fistly introduced with bluej Java ..from them I decided to study further with computer science...for this interest I made 99 in class 10th and 95 in class 12th..this is the prime reason to choose this course but I didn't get the dream college for the above mentioned reason .. As I mentioned earlier the environment of the college is very satisfying, but some of the faculty are inexperienced and new commers so in those cases we are unable to understand properly. Everything is fine than that .
No as my college gives internship at 3rd year ,but we can join internship before also if we want but we have to give notice to the college for that..I haven't took up any internship till now but I heard the mentors are very good they help in getting good internship!
I am a second your student I have not gone through any internships but I heard the mentors are given enough internship in reputed companies....and even the placement of the college is good the highest placement of 42 lpa got from our college and this this year also there are companies like Deloitte, Microsoft came to hire students...and I heard it went well, students are getting placed .
The actual fee structure of the college Sister Nivedita University is of 166000 but I have got a 50 % internal scholarship so I have to pay 53000 per semester including restistration fee, development fee,lab fee. If you talk about other catagory like sc , obc they get scholarship as per their categories. If someone doesn't get scholarship they will have to pay a fee of 7 lakh in total 8 semester. If I tell about the paying mode there are many modes all are easy ....there are modes like UPI , cheque , demand draft, cards but they didnot accept cash.
Yeah the life inside campus is very good, the campus is very clean it has basketball court and a ground for both football and cricket but that is not inside the campus. There are a lot of clubs we can join even I joined a few they are very good. If I talk about the official website..we can find everything including how to apply for any cource , the syllabus regarding the course etc ...so it is a 5 on 5 star
Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.
I do not have any idea abt hostel i just filled ir because the web is forcing me to and about internship and package theres nothing college gives you come on it’s not engineering college it’s a law college they do not provide much but the basic other things you gotta look out for yourself
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
