Remarks :
The 90% process of taking admission in this college is online . The students first need to appear in higher secondary examination and score a good marks .after that open college website( now govt has centralised admission process of all colleges ) and apply with your documents and marksheet . The college will shortlist candidates and invites to take admission. Then you need to visit college and take admission with admission fee of approx 3500
Course Curriculum Overview :
I studied my 11th and 12th in commerce background. I wanted to sticked to the line of accounting and finance . The faculty of this college is very experienced . Specially the head of the department Mr Samir Bera is very experienced and professional.
Internships Opportunities :
No , I did not opted for internship. In B.com we have to make a major project in final semester. I have prepared my project on ratio analysis of a tyre company additionally we also have to prepare a project on e filling.
Placement Experience :
The biggest drawback of this college is the college does not provide placement and internship opportunities. You need to find by yourself after graduating. You can skill up by learning tally ,excel to work in finance sector
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college is very affordable . On an average 7500 I paid as yearly fees which is divided in two semesters. Course fees for all students are same . Additionally rs 300 (approx) is payable per semester for university examination form.
Campus Life :
The college is not that good regarding campus and infrastructure. Toilets are very dirty . Fests are organised yearly on September on occasion of freshers welcome .The college library is very good which is very spacious with good collection of books and it is Fully air conditioned.
Hostel Facilities :
The college does not provide any hostel facility. Outstation students need to rent a mess near college which is near Gariahat ,Lakemall,Rashbehari Avenue,Kalighat Metro. I am local student so I never rented an a mess

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
