Likes
- Regular examinations are held, every month to prepare the students for main semester exams
- There is a group called NSS which supports the outside activities
Dislikes
- The college says that its co education but doesn’t allow both genders to sit at the same place not even in the library
- The staff is very irresponsible, fights happen every week , outsiders come to college which creates a huge mess and blood shed and faculty is not bothered by that and don’t even care or do anything about it
Remarks :
There was no specific reason to choose this college but there are very limited colleges in Kashmir that offers bba as a course so that was the reason to opt islamia as the college and to get there i have passed the exam of CUET
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is nothing unique, they offer the same subjects and syllabus in other courses as well like in b com there are same subjects which are in bba so nothing different the teachers teach good but nothing extraordinary , so the overall experience is average
Internships Opportunities :
There is no scope for internships as there is no placement, its just to show that you have a degree worth nothing, they don’t provide any opportunities to students regarding their jobs or career . Zero scope for that
Placement Experience :
There is zero scope for placement and job opportunities, the campus doesn’t offer anything at all , people graduated from the college are doing their own business at small scale as the campus doesn’t offer anything so I guess i too am gonna do that only, rest is upto Allah swt
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The free is quite affordable and as per the college it’s quite reasonable and there is also fee for exams which as well is a reasonable amount and no extra fee or anything is charged only when there is any event than they may charge otherwise its not an expensive college
Campus Life :
The campus is very small and doesn’t have much space and departments like other colleges and universities and they don’t conduct any fest or events and the library is not that big and don’t allow boys and girls to sit at the same place
Hostel Facilities :
I don’t know about the hostel much , but there is only one building for hostel and that too for boys only which is not that clean and if we talk about canteen so that too is not much good there is only one small canteen in the campus

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

Course Curriculum Overview :
quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Placement Experience :
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
