- Campus is too small literally it can be covered by just by walking
- Other faculties teachings style is not so good
Remarks :
I choose this because I have first priority of my branch which is computer science and engineering to get this college I have to clear JEE advanced with good rank my category rank was 939 in jee advance . Good thing in this iit is that this the best iit among 3rd generation iit it have good infrastructure now in cse it average package of cse is 17l/a and highest off campus package is 48l/a good thing about this iit is that I am getting good exposure with other people telling about bad aspect it doesn't have proper sports facilities less sports equipment and does not have proper ground and maintenance level are of very low quality indoor games facilities are not well again talking about good it have its own dance club music club robo club almost all types of club it consists and time to time college different students organised different type of tech events and cultural events and we have have meraz central India's biggest cultural fest and and all festival are celebrated in a best
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is computer science and engineering this is well known and highly demanded course and I choose it because if interest in coding and program and surely from this I will get good package majority of faculty have done their phd from reputed iit like delhi kharagpur Bombay kanpur their methods was quite good they prepare slides and read and explain it to the class that aal in review they need improvement exams held two times in year mid sem and end sem and have extra sem for those who failed in these two in summer difficulty level is above jee advance level quite tough but depends upon preparation
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any intership opportunities in intership there is one cell ccps which handle all these things and make sure there are sufficient companies who can offer intership and one special cell which directly connected to different companies and this is a student bodies
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunity are good in iit . l for getting good placement you must have good cgps more than 8 is good and have some intership certificate , project during the year help a lot for getting placement average package is 17.5lakh and highest is 48lakh

Campus Life :
Life at campus is wonderful it is outstanding mess facilities is quite good and sports facilities is average and every Saturday and Sunday there is workshop and events organised by third and second year students to enjoy more there is cafe inside the campus clubs are very good specially music club and robotics club there are almost all type of club this year fest would be held in December it is central India's biggest cultural fest and its name is meraz There are two library in campus . throughout the year students bodies organised events like pratyana sports competition bhilai premiere league for cricket one such social group ek bharat shreshtha bharat and niravana for supporting LGBT community. infrastructure is average
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for hostel hostel admission fee is 500 and seat rent fee is 2475rs Hostel room are very good it has air conditioner in room . Rooms are sharing room two students in one room for first and second year and would get separate room for third year onwards . Food quality is average breakfast is good but lunch and dinner is not so well there is three counter in mess mess is well cleaned we get two time non veg in week

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
