- faculty was good and friendly. but hard on grading to be honest. but they provide good guidance
- Campus life was good with facilities. but infrastructure is still building.
Dislikes
- Mobile phone signals are very weak. such that i need to stand in hot sun to call. and room ventilation and AC service could have been better.
- Placements could have been much better. there was no mass recruitment this year in college placements. it was much better for 2023 passed out batch. it was around 80% for them. but much less for us.
Remarks :
first, no group discussions tests, or interviews. it is a direct admission through Josaa. Before reporting, some seniors called me and helped me through the admission process. And then direct reporting at the college. I wanted to join this college cause it's an IIT and that college name would be very helpful in the future for me even though my discipline was not the best to join.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I joined this college in the interest of that college. not the discipline. I wanted that IIT thing. that will help me in the future too. so, I joined here regardless of the discipline. all my professors are well-qualified from first-generation IITs and higher colleges. the exams were tough in my first 3 years. means exams take place thrice in a semester. say per month in a 3-4 month semester. but now, it is mid-semester, end-sem exam type. only twice as mid and end-semester exams. The coming fee structure has 3 categories. below 1 lakh income holders get a fee of 0 tuition fee with around 30000 total fee per semester. 1-5 lakh holders will get around 72000 per semester. and then above that it is 1,50000 per semester. for availing one should submit an income certificate given by them with the sign of MRO or tahsildar. and other IT returns statements, etc. one can get bank assistance also. that is allowed.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes. but haven't got any. internships were offered through the mail by our college team. they used to mail the internship opportunities and all. but quite less than what our previous batches got. But there will be adequate opportunities to opt for.
Placement Experience :
for DSAI and CSE, it was very good. but coming to EE and ME it was average. Anyone can register in the placement portal. no restrictions on that of course with specific documents and verification. recruiters include TCS, Accenture Japan, Jindal, etc. The highest package was around 48 lpa for a data science engineer role. and the average was around 8lpa for all disciplines. almost all are placed for DSAI and for remaining no IT, it was 50%. I want to pursue higher education M.tech.
Campus Life :
Social life is very good. I am exposed to various cultured people on campus. there will be an event called MIRAZ every year or 2. One can see those on YouTube. it is a 3-5 day event every time it is held. coming to sports, in the old campus there was well-equipped infrastructure for sports but in the new campus, I think the sports infrastructure will be ready by the end of this summer 2024. the construction is going on now and it will be ready soon. sports include basketball, badminton, volleyball, etc and credits should be fulfilled in sports around 9 credits. and 15 hours should be played to earn one credit and 9 credits should be done 4 years of graduation. this can be increased later. instead of sports, one can take NSS too in which one should go towards service and all. there are no restrictions on playing time or anything. can play any time. food quality can be said average. it's a basic addon system. add-on tastes well and good. so, can be manageable.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
