- Infrastucture the classrooms hostel rooms are well build and beautiful
- College fest is very good and is worth to see and enjoy for 3 days
Dislikes
- Faculty, the faculty here imposes useless work which wont even help students get their things done some are unreasonably rude and strict
- campus life was mostly missing out coz having 1 year of permanent campus most of it was a construction site only
Remarks :
direct admission from josaa councelling, so basic factors were jee advanced. you need to secure ur rank for jee, during my times General males were allowed for admission upto 12k, now with additional branches may get more
Course Curriculum Overview :
i was alloted for admission in Mechenical but through branch change i got into electrical engineering, after first sem there is a branch change option which totally depends on your peers sgpa, in terms of exams this branch ee is very chill profs are good and prefer not to fails students, how ever it is quite opposite in ME which profs find it fun to fail students and is very hectic in terms of workload coz profs dont give marks easily
Internships Opportunities :
i didnt manage to get a internship. though various companies come for internship for various roles mostly software development and web development some of them are google, L&T constructions etc with several startups which give around 40k per months
Placement Experience :
every student who has no disciplinary action going on is eligible for placements, google, amazon, nvidia, warner bros etc visit here. highest package on campus was bout 45 lpa this year and it goes for as low as 6 lpa in some companies. companies give an average package of 12 lpa. students who register for placements about 70 80 percent get placed and those who are not placed, are given chance next year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
304000 3 lakh 4 thousand for which 1 lakh is tuition fee per sem so 2 lakh tuition fee per year, then comes hostel fee and mess fee and other fee which constitutes rest of parts. for sc st it is 0 tuition fee all other fee are applicable, obc and ews category has fee waiver accoding to their income. institute also gives facility of student loans from tieup banks like sbi for 4 years for which interest will be paid by institute and student has to only pay principle, if student fails to get a placement then college pays interest for additional year.
Campus Life :
yearly fest is called meraz it is usually held in oct end nov start but due to some issues it was delayed to feb last year, there is a wide range of books and a beautiful liberary it covers all the books which are required during the course work and for other interests too it also has arts books like psychology, literature, economics. being a new iit sports are currently lacking due to improper grounds and much on going work to make grounds. there is a students council known as cosa council of student affairs, which is totally run by students under it, almost there exist a club for every thing be it dancing, queer group, singing, drama club, digital designing club, fasion club, astronomy club and tech clubs like for coding robotics motorsports fintech blockchain club cyber security club even chemistry club
Hostel Facilities :
the food is good, better tbh from other colleges, menu is diverse with student body overlooking quality and menu changes it has both veg and non veg options with a different mess for pure vegetarians, for ug courses and masters it is mandatory to live in hostels, being newly built not even 2 years ago hostels are in good condition with acs, has double rooms for year 1,2,3 and single for 4th btech and mtech students, doctarate students are given option to live within campus or outside. hostels are genuinly very affordable for this amount

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
