Likes
- Infrastructure is good, faculty are knowledgeable and supportive. Security of the students is top - notch. Overall atmosphere is of the college is good
- You can enjoy campus life here at NITJ through various events like Techniti, Utkash, Bharat Dhawani, etc.
Dislikes
- Decision making or implement of those decisions is very slow in the college. Their a level of hierarchy is sometimes seam very frustrating.
- The criteria of 75% attendance is also is very disappointing. Sometimes students can also get detained which leds to anxiety and depression to them. Due to many assignments and work load is very hard to maintain your life with extra curricular activities.
Remarks :
Admission in this college is based on the rank of JEE Mains exam. My ranks is not too good so that I can get top NITs. Then, also option left of NITJ which is best for me in North India as compared to NIT Hamirpur, NIT Delhi, NIT Uttarakhand, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course Curriculum of the first year student is nearly same despite their branches. The the course is design as per the alloted branches in which we study the core subject of that branch. Teacher at NITJ highly qualified, and supportive. Their are good facilities available such that there is central Library, Separate reading room, seminar and workshops.
Internships Opportunities :
As, I have not completed my 2nd year so I have not opted for any intership. But, there are many opportunities available at NITJ through which we can easily get intership at the companies. Many MNCs at NITJ offers intership with good stipend.
Placement Experience :
Intership are provided by various companies like Google, Microsoft, reliance, mondelez, Technip, Accenture in your 3rd year with stipend. There also several companies came into college college for placement which led to 80-85% placement of the students through campus. Computer science, Chemical, IT branch have nearly 100% placement in NITJ. So don't worry about the intership and placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First semester fees is Rs. 35000 which reduced to 25000 for remaining semester for SC, ST students and whose family income is less than 1 lakhs per annum. There is also mess of Rs.25000 per semester which is common for all.
Campus Life :
Their are various types of clubs which helps in building of our social life and provide good knowledges with life lessons. Every clubs organise their events which adds extra flavour the entertainment. Through clubs we have a great bonding with seniors as well as with juniors. Good infrastructure is provided for extra curricular activities at NITJ.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel have good facilities with online Champlain portal which your any problem with few days. Their is a balanced diet menu which served in the mess. Rules and regulations are top-notch. Any violations of the rules led to the heavy penalty. You can apply for hostel rooms through Hostel portal which is introduced from last 2 years. For hostel room allotment should not live nearly in the area of 30 km of the college

I joined the TPP programme by paying an additional fee of ?11,000. Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini and Virtusa visit for recruitment. In 2026 Accenture selected 200 students The highest package is around ?22–25 LPA, while the average is approximately ?5–8 LPA. Around 35–40% of students get placed. if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
