Remarks :
I am very greatfull for this opportunity.. I like my college and teachers also. Students are very helpful. And bad thing about this college is sometimes management issues. Otherwise overall it's good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Fees are very less than another college. Faculties are very cooperative. They didn't pressurized students for the fees. We got scholarship till three years. They are very helpful towards every students
Internships Opportunities :
I don't have any experiences. I am still learning about coding end etc. But I am trying to find a job as soon as possible. TCS will come in 16th of February in our college. SO I hope I can make it!!!!
Placement Experience :
In previous years from our college students got job from WIPRO, CAPE GEMINi, TCS, etc. They came every year to take interviews. Even TCS are going to come in 16th of February 2024. They will take interviews.
Campus Life :
Our campus has a large space. Honestly I didn't stay in the hostel so I don't know about it. But in our college we organise sports event. Band/Music events every year. So it's very enjoyfull for every students

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
