Laxmibai college was not my first choice but i got in my first list with the course philosophy hons and all over my college is very good faculty are too good but washrooms needs to be repair Admission process was there is a exam which is known as CUET Common university entrance exam where all the central universities exams held Like DU BHU AU and many moree soo being from a general category my score in cuet was 613 and for general DU cut off goes really high like for north it is 790 for south 750 and for Off campus 650 but luckily i got Admission When i got it in my first around i thought to go for second round as well but Laxmibai ies very decent college with very good location and fee affordability so i choose to stay in my choice
Philosophy hons was not my choice at all my first priority choice was history hons or polsci hons but as i said i got DU in my first list even as being in general category and in first round i got laxmibai in Philosophy hons soo i choose them and my course is really good Qualifications of my faculty member is that all of them are PHD holders and teaching method of my teachers are really really good like they literally looks in everyone eyes and teaches not in phone and books etc Rightnow in my college midsems going to held in oct after then end sem in dec so i thought that exams will held in monthly gap and about difficulty level right now i don't have any idea because i am new and 1st year student
I am first year student i don't have any intership and and project lets this how is my experience going to be in DU and if i get Placement or not its all depends on my score and if i get it then I'll definitely be the lucky one
As i know DU only provide placement if your score is too good otherwise you ended up with a degree only there are soo many students who got placement and other not you have to held a good score in your score card other wise not Some time i think DU is really underrated like people only like DU for their fest legacy and lifestyle My plan after getting the degree that i will go for masters not in india but outside lets see how this works
The fee structure is really good which a bit affordable for students and this is year by paying not every month development and all fee is 500 and i don't know right now that any completion fee less for management quota and scst I am new to my college i don't know the category of others my batchmates and their fees structure but i think everyone has to pay the same amount during admission Right now i have no idea about any scholarship and financial aid if there's one i like to enrolled in that
Right now there is no fest going to held in my college and i think it will held in march or april where DU mostly fests held All kinds of book and journals in the library is available my library is also good not so big not so small Classroom on first floor is kinda small with two fans only and otherwise it is good what can you expected in central university Sports and extracurriculars activities are going on right now in my college like dance singing debates acting there auditions is also on going and there are soo many games in my college which played like volleyball basketball handball kabbadi kho kho even they held auditions also There is so many groups and clubs are there like stundent union dancing groups sophia and many more i don't have that much idea There is a page on instagram for lbc which is run by students where we can get all updates about on going and up coming programmes
There is no hostel facility in my college DU college don't provide Hostel facilities in some college only some north and south campus has hostel otherwise some north and south campus also don't provide hostel facilities
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
