- Campus was the only thing to love about since campus was big enough to explore and it was beautiful, one can spend time from morning to night over there.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure was poor, no modern design or reviewing buildings or repairing interior damages.
Remarks :
There wasn't really any criteria apart from pass certificate in class 12 and also there wasn't any interview just a casual introduction about the college and how it can benefit my career. I joined mostly because of Sports and nearby my home.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course bcz my father insisted he didn't want me to pursue a different course. The faculty members were not too highly qualified but qualified enough as per the standard of the college, few faculty members were really good others were not upto that mark. Exams were always timely and difficulty was moderate
Internships Opportunities :
I have done my winter internship in Kothari Medical Center in HR and Medical Records from Dec'13 till Jan'14 I also did my summer internship from CMRI hospital In Speciality Clinic and Guest Relation. I had the opportunity to work in PG-SSKM for 3 months under a road side accident project under the joint collaboration of PG and IIT Kharagpur. Unfortunately I didn't recieve my accolade in that internship since govt policies in india s**ks.
Placement Experience :
There were no placement during my time as we had internships in summer and winter and that's what earned us jobs during college period. Even if there had been some placements the package started at 1.2LPA that's why I always stayed away from hospitals and had been working in Market Research where my pay grade was way too better than my peers and that was always my plan in my last year of college
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid around 199000 in 3 years including exam fees, now it has increased to 275000 or more. Caution fees during my time was 5000 it might have increased. There was a seperate library fees of 200/year. There wasn't any lab fees for my course.
Campus Life :
Fest was usually during July or August but for rains it delayed till October sometimes. Availability of books in libraries and journals were always satisfactory. Amenities in classroom were only Air conditioning that's it. Sports was there but only eligible students made through it. There was football team, cricket team, volley ball team. There wasn't really any social groups or clubs but now there might be some.

Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
