The admission process was simple after your cuet exam you have to separately fill up the form for Delhi University and pls remember that you have to fill up this separate form even after you have filled DU in your NTA form as preferences. After the results you’ll be updating your information in phase 2 by attaching your 12 and 10 class marksheet and later you’ll be doing subject mapping that is you fill up all the subjects you have appeared in for cuet as a singular subject is under different names.after the last phase that is your preference fill you’ll be allocated college according to your marks in cuet and the cut off displayed just before the seat allocated button.. As for my college there has been good development but the thing is the students are really not good the crowd is from a lower class especially for subjects like ba hons like history geography or other common popular Hons courses and they don’t have basic etiquette of how to behave or even clean after themselves
The course is up to the mark and the fact I am from program we and hons have hardly any differences in our subjects we all study the same subjects have the same professors and the teaching is great.. I am in psychology program and I chose this subject as I wanted to be a therapist.. All the faculty is from good colleges abd have adequate experience in teaching graduates.. there are only end semester examinations held in DU and we never have had any exam postponed or any problems with examination process it is quite simple and the examination isn’t every difficult with a good amount of study you can score well..
Not me but one of my friends did an internship in exchange for her sec course and it has been very good as you get to work in office which provides you with hands on experience about working with a company
Internships are there which you can take up instead of your sec course and they pay you for exceptional work.. it gives you a good idea about working with a company and also provides you with course credit
We pay yearly fee for our college as the fees are already quite nominal.. but in case there is someone struggling financially they can apply for scholarships based on their family income which varies from 40% - 70%… You can also pay your fees in instalments for which you might want to contact the administration office and they can provide you with all the details for the same.. Any categories will have their fees accordingly on the online fee portal there is no need to separately fill up for categories while paying for fees..
As you know DU is very well known for it’s fests and events so you’ll never be bored.. You can join societies and there are diverse and numerous societies in du dance art fashion social welfare etc etc.. libraries are well equipped with all the recommended reading for your syllabus. In our cllg sports and extracurricular have a special place as sports students get a token of ?50 and they can get whatever they want from the canteen. There is sukoon which is a mental health initiative run by students..
Our college doesn’t provide hostel services.. you would have to take a pg near college.. mostly the rent is reasonable and the food in pg is fair I’ll not say the best but yea it’s nice and edible.. a lot of times in pg you share room with working women..
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
