Remarks :
Admissions to our college was based upon an entrance exam of which 50 percent marks were considered and rest 50 percent marks were of 12th merit. Totalling both a merit list is prepared and you can choose course of your choice. Entrance is average difficulty.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college is one of the prestigious college for llb in punjab. Course is well rounded consisting of all major and minor laws covering all topics which would help you in litigation or career fo your choice. Faculty is highly experienced professors which guide you through their practical experience of legal career.
Placement Experience :
No placements as such are offered. Department mainly focuses on litigation as practice or cracking a government exam. Our college being a prestigious college i am often recognised as a good litigant with good knowledge.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our department was one of the expensive departments in the university. It being a private department in a government university it was allowed to construct its own fee structure. Fees structure for five years or your course duration will be provided at the time of admission. Fees generally increases by 8 percent a year. It includes everything including admission fees tuition fees and fest fees, libraray fees. It being a government university obviously high concessions were given to backward classes and other categories of reservation. Students also used to migrate from other colleges under panjab university to our department to which they had to pay extra fees i think rs 50000 extra each year. Moreover you can also get migrated on merits to which no extra fees is payable.
Campus Life :
Campus being situated in panjab university it comes with ots own social life which cannot be compared to anything. Fests, cultural events these things are usual. College also hasany socities which conducts various events throygout the semester.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel are provided on merit and each college/department in panjab university gets allocated specifoc number of seats. Getting hostel is quite difficult. However hostel conditions are not that good but are manageable.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
