- The first thing that I like about my university is that the faculty here is excellent, and they are very hard-working and interactive with their students
- the library is good too, it has good quality of books and material for a law student
Dislikes
- Everything is good, but I think the infrastructure needs more renovation
- no ac during scorching summers which is something I don’t really appreciate
Remarks :
university Institute of legal studies, Punjab University, Chandigarh is a semi-government university, you get admission on entrance basis where each student gets fair chance, and there is no bias or discrimination.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to become a judicial officer. That’s why I chose this field. The faculty is also good and their qualification is equivalent to the qualification of a good advocate and the teaching method is also very interactive.
Internships Opportunities :
Actually, this is my first year of the college and I have not opted for any internship, but I am planning to do the same from the second year onwards after I gain more knowledge about the course I have been enrolled into
Placement Experience :
as far as I know, placements are very less, but if you are planning to do judiciary, then it is the best place to go for it. As you have to self study and the material here is very good and about internships. You have to work on your own to get internships as not, everyone is provided with internships by the college faculty.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid around 80,000 after I got admission in the college and after one semester, I paid around 40,000 more. The fees is less for the children under any deprived section of the society, whether Be it ST or OBC.
Campus Life :
The social life is also very good as our university conducts elections every year, and because of that we as students get to interact with most of our fellow mates. Even sports is also taken into consideration along with that, there are so many social and theoretical clubs like Under 25 and ADR cell
Hostel Facilities :
Actually, I have not opted for a hostel because the hostel is only available to the people whose rank is actually good. My rank was AIR 64. The seats in hostel is very less for girls. I love in PG in sector 15

I joined the TPP programme by paying an additional fee of ?11,000. Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini and Virtusa visit for recruitment. In 2026 Accenture selected 200 students The highest package is around ?22–25 LPA, while the average is approximately ?5–8 LPA. Around 35–40% of students get placed. I was selected by Virtusa with a package of ?7 LPA, and I plan to start my professional career there after graduation.

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
