The admission in the above course is done by an entrance test, which is called UGLAW entrance test or PU BALLB entrance test. For the admissions, out of the total 100% marks, 50% of the twelfth scores are considered and the other 50% are of the entrance test scores. After the test, a merit list is released and counselling is done where top merit holders are called to confirm their admissions. Along with the Chandigarh campus, admissions are also done for regional campuses at Ludhiana and Hoshiarpur.
Talking about the faculty, professors are well qualified. Most of them are Phd holders and various of them are practicing advocates. Exams are conducted in two fold manner, one during the mis of the semester in which a 10 marks objective test is taken. And the other is at the end of the semester, which is a 80 marks exam. These are conducted for all the subjects (Total 6 subjects are there). Further a 10 marks project-presentation (5 marks each) is also done. Talking about the scholarship, one can apply for a semester scholarship according to their marks in twelfth or prev semester, further top scorers of a semester are also awarded with a small monetary amount.
Department does not provide for any internships. However, since the high court is near to the university only, one can apply for an internship on his own. Further there is also a career development cell in the department which is managed by the students, and it also provides for various internship opportunities.
Placement in our department does not hold a good record. Only a handful of people are given a job offer at top tier firms, and almost 90% others prepare for judiciary only. However it provides for a great atmosphere for network building and connections making which can help in the career.
Campus life is amazing. One will find every single luxurious car roaming in the campus. Further hostels are open 24/7 which provides stimulus for a good night life. Even reading rooms and library is also open 24/7. Further the campus provides for various co-curricular activities. There are many grounds for outdoor sports. There is badminton court, gymnasium hall, swimming pool, shooting range, and many more. From time to time concerts are also organised and various fests also take place.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
