Relatively newer college with state of the art infrastructure. Popular on the internet so its quite easy to do a research about the institution. Since its a medical college, it follow the same path required to get an admission(Based on the performance in NEET UG- People can do basic research on internet about the process of admission in a medical college, can consult with their known medical professionals for a complete guidance for a hassle free admission. Not much is there to criticise about except for the fact that the institution is location a bit away from the mainstream town.
My reason of choosing this college is because of the reason that this is a relatively new institution which means the infrastructure is as par the current standard of medical care and the other reason is attributed to its location which is a landmark of historical and cultural significance which directly or indirectly puts a good impression on people hearing about this institution for the first time. Number of facilities is beyond adequate with each specialised to great heights in their respective fields. Exams are of tree types- Unit exams mediated by the college as wished by the respective departments, Trimesters which again is mediated by the college thrice tearly and finally Proff/University exams mediated by the state university at the end of each year to be passed to get promoted to the next year.
Job opportunities and qualification criteria is mediated by the college authorities and is as par any medical workplace. Adequate post are present for those who want to apply as a junior resident after graduation.

Estrella is the well known yearly fest that is organised yearly usually in the month of September, and cultural programmes resonating with respective occasions are must events held in the institution. We have a huge Library running all days of the week, having every and every books, journals or study materials that a student might need to excel in their academics and more importantly in numbers that ensures availability to everyone. Fees structure is mentioned in the college website. All kinds of room be it sharing or single rooms with or without ACs are available to cater with individualised needs of the students with each room have its own attached balcony and washroom to give it a more functional touch. 24x7 wifi and no additional cost for electricity is being taken. Rooms are being timely cleaned by dedicated staff. Separate canteen allocated for boys and girls serving food 4times a day to ensure adequate nutrition status of each student. Registration for hostel can be done along with the process of admission. Students also have the option of staying in rental PGs nearby if someone feel so.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
