Overall review for the Assam don Bosco university Azara campus

- The first thing I like about this campus Azara is the faculties which are very skilled and friendly.
- Secondly I like about this campus is seniors which are really friendly and helpful.
Dislikes
- The main thing that i didn't like about this campus is campus life
- And the second thing I didn't like about this campus is strict rules and regulations of hostel.
Remarks :
First of all if you are looking for an best private management and commerce college in Northeast India Assam don Bosco university is one of the best college.There may be entrance test for Btech to get admission but if you are looking for BBA program you can get direct admission if your score is more than 50% in class 12.
Course Curriculum Overview :
They offered variety of courses in BBA one is minor, major, multidisciplinary, EVS, language and yoga.The faculties of this this University are friendly, regular,well qualified and have a great teaching experience.You will enjoy practical knowledge by visiting industrial sites,practical group assignment as well as theoritical knowledge in this course.If we talk about exam there are 2 semester exams in one year.You also have to give monthly test which marks will also be added in end semester exams.The difficulty level of exams is quite moderate and you can also be able to score good marks if you work little hard.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee deposit of bba is in 8 parts which is in July and January.For the first year you have to pay 113000.For the second year you have to pay 85000 and for the third year you have to pay 85000.Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) in Guwahati, Assam offers several scholarship programs such as merit based, economics status based,disability based,sports based, scholarship assistance program to encourage meritorious students and provide access to higher education for those with disabilities or from economically weaker sections of society.
Campus Life :
There are two campuses of Assam don Bosco university one is Azara and another is Tapesia.If we talk about Tapesia you will get a large 300 acres campus with good campus life but if we talk about Azara campus you will get very small campus or no campus life.As I am studying at Azara campus pursuing BBA here You will get a good library at this college with lots of books and journals.The classrooms are well maintained with good seats but you didn't get air conditioning facilities at your classroom which is quite surprising comparing to their high fees.The sports facilities of Azara campus is not soo quite impressive here the sports facilities is only for basketball and badminton there are no proper ground or no ground for other sports .There are lots of social group and clubs available in this campus such as naga, manipuri, khasi, adivasi, Bodo many more and if we talk about clubs there are lots of club available here such as dance, sports,music etc.
Hostel Facilities :
If you want freedom and you are outgoing person the hostel is not for you,You better take PG or rent.The rules of hostel are really strict and doesn't give you any freedom.The main problem of this hostel is gate closing time which is 6pm,food which is sometimes good and sometimes bad and the bad water which is rich in iron.If we talk about food menu you wil get veg and non veg option at this hostel at lunch there is veg and at night there is veg and non veg optional.If you want to take hostel you should have to approach hostel warden and he will guide you for the further procedure.

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
