Admission was based on merit list solely. Environment is cool and clam and it's not located in busy area but nearby a resident colony making it more safe. Infrastructure is good and faculty is good as well but when it comes to placements their are very less opportunities for humanities students.
Course curriculum is well developed based on making students skilled rather than just giving them theory learning. Teachers are good and they try to inculcate various teaching methods to make it more interesting, active discussions, group activities, workshops, seminars are conducted on a regular basis. There are regular end semester exams conducted apart for internal tests. Exams are not that difficult if you continuously attend lectures and be consistent.
No stipend internships are provided by the college for humanities students. Placements cell are run by students only and they only reach out to companies providing placements to commerce and science students.
No campus placements were available from the college's end. Though professors do guide you for internships available but no official help is provided regarding placements. We have to search, contact and reach out to companies on our own.

Fests are not conducted that often but yes diwali fair, navaratri fest is something that occur every time, mostly these are organised by students and hence are more connected to areas which Students usually prefer. Sports facilities are provided well. Regular workshops, seminar, competitions & talks are organised by the college faculty and students are free to attend any of those. College has various active societies and clubs as well, each department has their own society apart fron women development cell, NCC, NSS, Enactus, CIE cell, Rotract club, dance society, debate society etc. To provide a good extra curricular exposure to students. Most of the societies are run by students with teachers being there only to guide them. Library is well stocked with books related to subject.
I lived in a rented falt, rent was 6k per month plus electricity bill. Falt was fully furnished and located in a colony making it safe. It was nearby college so commuiting was easy. We used to cook on our own and shops are present just in the colony itself which provided all the necessary items.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
