All about ADTU from Student Perspective

- I love how my college provides various courses for various students having interest in various sectors.
- The infrastructure of the campus is very good and facultys are very helpful and guide us in good direction. Campus life is also pretty good according to me.
Dislikes
- For students, the wifi service that the college provides are pretty bad.
- There are very less canteen in the college which lead to difficulty to eat in college.
Remarks :
For me personally, i choose this course because one of my bigger brother was studying master in pharmacy at that time in ADTU and my brother recommended this course and i kinda liked the subject which are taught in this so i pursued this b.pharm course. As my brother took all the work to get admission into the college, I didn't need to attend any GD, Interviews or written test.
Course Curriculum Overview :
According to me, this course provides me wide variety of opportunities to study further and can easily be able to get jobs and medical field is expanding at a extensive rate. I choose this course as i was interested in biology field and this course curriculum interest me to pursue this course. Qualification of the faculty are like different for different course like for master student, teacher are assigned who have done PHD and for bachelor students, teacher who completed master are assigned. And all the teachers are well knowledged and are very good at Teaching. Exams are conducted through out the semester very evenly like after every 1-2 week college conduct some exams like quiz,sessional, practical exam,theory test.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done my industrial training as my internship in signova industry. And one of my sir aided me in getting this opportunity. In the industry, i have learnt about various SOP of different instruments used for production of medicine in the industry. We also check quality control department and how they conduct their work. Also in production cell we seen from how a powdered drug is after so many phases turn into perfect dosage form and is stored in a cool area. We also got the chance to known about quality assurance department of the industry.
Placement Experience :
For my course, after completion of 7th sem, we get opportunity for in-campus placement in which various companies come to select some students for their company. It provides us various opportunities to get job in various sectors from hospital to pharmacy industry,etc. ADTU is known to be biggest placement driven university in whole Northeast. 90% placement are provided by the college with highest package above 10L and average package around 4L. My plans after completion of my bachelor course is to pursue master in pharmacology to boost my knowledge and i want to explore more myself into the research field
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fee i have to pay for my bachelor of pharmacy degree is 150000 and total course fees which is about 4 year duration is 600000, which was when i joined ADTU in 2021. Now the course fees have risen to 800000. As i have scored 90% in my 12th standards, i have gotten inhouse scholarship from ADTU that my last two semesters fees are deducted which is 80000 each. Registration fees was about 25000 during my admission. I have total of 100 students in my batch and all have similar fees structure except those who scored above 80% have gotten last one semester fees deducted and above 90% last two semesters deducted. Also ADTU conduct one scholarship exam in which if you are able to score good, you will earn yourself a good scholarship from the College itself.
Campus Life :
College life at the campus is pretty good. College conduct fest yearly around feb-march. The college book store provide a wide spectrum of books and jorunals. Also there are various sports and extracurricular activities that we could participate. There are various clubs like photography club, dance club, etc. Also there are various sports competition happening in college like cricket competition, football competition,etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for any hostel. I have stayed in PG after coming to the college from the start. But according to my friends who opted for hostel told me it's food is good and room is small And there are various restrictions of going out for girls and need day pass to go out of the college that is one big negative if you want to explore

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.
COLLEGE LIFE

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

Placement Experience :
The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

You must get more than 7 CGPA to sit in the placement. TCS, L&T, Jacobs etc and the highest package is around 21 LPA around 15% are placed every year.Iwill be doing PHd in IIT after getting my degree.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
