There were many reasons for this like the location of the university is good,Faculty is good and experienced . Placement is available like Amazon, Flikpcart, Indigo, Sunpharma, Byjus, Apollo hospital, Asian,Reliance. And many more. There is nothing wrong but there are some things that can be improved like Wi-Fi speed. Also there should more libraries. The admission process is very easy.you have to go to the university website and fill the from and then contact the admission department yourself. Then you can directly come to the university and take admission or admissions is also done online. Although the cutoff of every course is different but 60% minimum marks are required in 10+2.
I want to become a drug inspector so I opted for B.pharm . All the faculty members have 5/6 years experience after doing 5/6 years some are 15-20 years. And there are some new people who are doing PhD. The method of teaching is very good . There are seasonal exams twice in every semester and one final exam and in between there are quizzes exam and presentation. The levels of the exam is moderate to high.
I have done one month internship at Signova industries by the aid of my teacher. My teacher guided me in getting this internship opportunity. i’ve done this training in Guwahati and I have learnt about various SOP of different machines used in the pharmaceutical field which are used for the production of tablets. I have got the opportunity to learn about quality assurance, quality control and production of pharmaceutical product. Also I aided in storage and packing of drugs which helped in my gaining knowledge about pharmaceutical industry.
ADTU is known to be the biggest placement driven university in whole northeast. It provides 5000+ job offers and have a 90% placement record and highest package of 12 lakhs per Annum and average package of 4.5 lakh. Various companies ranging from Sun pharma Apollo hospital, Flipkart, Amazon, and other big companies come to the college for placement. Various post ranging from HR to pharmacies to dieticians are provided during the placement opportunity. My plans for after competition of bachelor of pharmacy is to pursue drug inspector role which could be acquired after doing industrial training for one year and training for one year and after that by cracking one exam, government exam, I could secure my place in drug Inspector.
When I took admission , the admission fee was 30000 and semester fee was 70000 , Now they have made the admissions fee 50000 and semester fee 80000 . If Any student got more than 90% marks in 10+2 ,then you will not have pay the last years fee that means the fee will be reduced by 160000.And the university conducts a scholarship test twice a year in which if a student passes ,then everything’s became free.
The campus is very big . Every year there is a festival which takes place in February. There are many class rooms in which projects are set up and there is 24/7 electricity and free Wi-Fi service is provided. Various clubs are there to support various students hobby like photography club, additionally sports competition like cricket and football occurred frequently. Also there is a app made by our college named as ADTU a connect app in which students get access to payment, notes, etc.
I have not opted for hostel at my time of admission as I have very bad food experience in my previous hostel which I took when I was doing bachelors of science In my hometown, so I directly took rent after I came to Guwahati. But according to friend who opted for hostel told me the food quality is decent as compared to off campus PG but one big negative for girls students are there are restrictions to go out side of the campus and they will need day pass to go outside of the campus. To apply for hostel accommodation, you need to contact college management and they will provide hostel facilities to you after payment and everything.
Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .
While the college does not guarantee 100% corporate placement, it facilitates campus interviews and internships. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Tata have rec recruited or offered internships to a percentage of students.
There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.
There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA
The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low. That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled. And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.
I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
You must get more than 7 CGPA to sit in the placement. TCS, L&T, Jacobs etc and the highest package is around 21 LPA around 15% are placed every year.Iwill be doing PHd in IIT after getting my degree.
I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
