Remarks :
I got admission to the college through my marks of the joint entrance examination of the West Bengal government and class 12. A cutoff is generated every year to get admission, but you may also get direct admission to the college by contacting them directly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course availability is very good in the college. You can get both B.tech and M.tech courses in the college. There are also diploma courses in this college. The faculties are so good but not up to the high. They are so friendly with the students to side any matter.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no proper internship opportunity in the college. I opted for an internship online but not through the college. But sometimes you may get some internship if you contact your HOD directly. But there is very low chance.
Placement Experience :
The job opportunities in the college are not good as compared to other engineering colleges in this locality. You can get a very few renowned companies on campus to hire higher students for a job. But you will get a medium type of salary from some companies that hire more students in the college every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual tuition fees are different from one student to another because of the scholarship program. You will get category types of scholarships, such as OBC, SC, and ST, from the government, as well as merit cum, which means school, according to your marks in class 12. But the course fees are very affordable as compared to other colleges in the area.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very beautiful in the college. All the students of the college are very friendly and helpful with each other. You can enjoy the campus life of the college for the entire course time.
Hostel Facilities :
The hosting accommodation and the food are very good for students. You will get different types of food every day for a week. They are both options available for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. All the hostels of the college are in a peaceful area but not on the college campus.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
