- The environment, it's peaceful and good for students they can study well. The Library is full of books we can study there.
Dislikes
- Canteen isn't stable and the water in the bathroom is bad.
Remarks :
This college is near my house and have this CST course so I choosen this college. And their is no written exam or interview for admission. You have to provide your 10th or 12th standards marksheet with some documents and fill up the form. Admission fees is 2000(may vary for some reason).
Course Curriculum Overview :
This college was near my house so I choose it but if u want better college you would like to avoid this one but the teaching here is good and practical. But u can't expect placement or internship from here, at least we didn't get it. Semester exams in every 6 months and internal exam in every 2 or 3 month gap. Exams are mid level tough.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship in my college. Cause it wasn't that good so I rather focus on my academic than internship you can try applying to off campus placement and internships. One guy from my batch got off campus internship and now is working part time.
Placement Experience :
We usually don't get internship offers and none for placement. But when you are in your 2nd year you will get internship offers you can try those even though they are not from some big company. We don't get placement here as it's diploma.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise fees is 2000 rs for every department with lab fee, admission registration etc. so full course fees with some other expenses for urself like academic supplies food all around 8000 rs. Preety much affordable.
Campus Life :
We have student community to help themselves. We have final year program or fest enjoyed by every year students, it happens in July when 3rd year students passout. Teachers arrange extra-curricular activities for us each year. Library have enough materials to study.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
