Good Aspects - the discipline scenario of the college is very good, there is a very social environment in the university and being away from the city life its very peaceful. Also the students are from a variety of backgrounds ranging from srinagar and south kashmir also the campus is beautiful Bad aspect - Teachers have too much freedom to do anything they might get personal at passing or failing you at a exam being a university, teachers have full liberty. Also there is not proper feedback medium for students
Course curriculum is great giving you knowledge from a variety of subjects such as business management, Accounting, Microeconomics, Health & Wellness, digital & technological solutions that was for the 1st semester Teachers are all PHD Scholars having great knowledge. But the teaching method must be improved and should not only consist of writing on the board and giving the lecture, in the end you have to study yourself
Internship are usually free and you have to find it on your own the university will mot help you find it, your internship will determine at what job you will get and the kind of innovation you did there
Placements are not good, people who get the Placements are the ones who think out of the box and have that skill set to acquire the job and are the ones who deserve is still the university is out off the MNCs, but you will get job on your own and obviously the one who is not hard working will not get the job no matter what
There are three categories for admission, i.e Open Merit (OM), Self Finance (SF) and NRI Quota For Integrated MBA program the admission fees for OM is 0 and the fees is 25K per semester, Students admitted into OM are usually the ones who have given a CUET GENERAL TEST and the cutoff remained around 50 marks as of 2025. Whereas, for SF seat the admission fees is 150K And then normal semester from i.e 25k per semester. SF seat is for those people who had less CUET marks or are NON CUET students for them the selection is based upon 12th percentage. Finally the NRI Quota the admission fees for the program is 250K and then normal semester fees i.e 25K and is for those whose family member is residing abroad and the verification formalities are very strict
Social life is great, a variety of fest are conducted here such as food fest, buisness fest which many students have participated into and are held around october november. There is a 3 floor library building too consisting of journals and STEM related and only lacking non fiction Sports is alright there a running track 1.5 km far from university which is alright but no proper football ground and cricket ground is there, a inter departmental football competition is held every year
There is a hostel, but i have no information related to it, but the infrastructure seems quite good and the location too. PG rooms are available 2 kms far from the university but the hostel is a better option for affordability
For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro, infuses, bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.
quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.
Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
