- The main thing I like about my college is it's infrastructure and campus as it is in the middle of salt Lake sector 5 I can get more exposure and experience about the corporate world and my field
- Secondly I like the college events and seminars organised by the college like from the seminar where we can know so many things from the highly qualified and respected famous intellectual persons
Dislikes
- Things I dislike about my college is it's management because the way they handle students is so bad that they recently removed the student support department from the college that's why the students who are from out of west bengal or out of Kolkata they have to suffer
- Another thing is that many teachers are leaving the college in middle of ongoing semester that this affect the education of students the college gave replacement for the teacher who leaves the college but students have to face suffer for adjusting with the new teacher and his style of teaching in middle of semester
- Another thing I dislike about my college is the irregularity of classes and wrong timing of giving notes or notice to the students like times the college management gave a notice in so late that most of students have to face problems for it
Remarks :
Actually I don't want to take admission in this college because I want take admission in the lovely professional University but due financial reasons I can't afford that college then I started looking for budget friendly decent college for BBA so I searched on Google and there I found collegevidhya.com they suggest me take admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BBA because I am passionate about business and management as a commerce student from school I always wanted to know about business and money thats why I chose BBA as my course and after my graduation I am wondering I would go for MBA, now if I talk about my college faculty members and teachers they're not so bad at all some teachers are leaving college in the middle of our ongoing semester on the other hand we some most qualified PhD Holder teachers that's why I have a mix review about my college faculty members and teachers.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I have done some internship but these internships are not provided by my college I have to look for that now I am do an internship in a company where I am working as a intern social media and marketing manager. I love marketing and I am passionate about it that's why I choose BBA and learning more about marketing is the reason why I am do this internship.
Placement Experience :
At the time of admission like every other colleges my college also told me that they will give 100% placement but now I am sure that the numbers are not right, because the teacher who was in the department of placement he left the college and Many of our seniors are not so satisfied with our college placement team some of them are still suffering for placement, talking about intership till date I didn't get a practical internship from my college I have done some internship in my own. But the told me that they will give internship and placement to us so let see.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My total college fees is 285000, I have to pay 40000 rupees every semester for 3 years, 2 semesters in 1 year which means total 6 semesters, after that the total amount would be 240000 and 15000 rupees is my seat booking fees and the admission fees is 30000,so my entire course fees is 285000 rupees
Campus Life :
As our college is in Kolkata so our most of the fests and events are on the Durga Puja and diwali time like in September and October but beside this our college also organise many fest on Many different times like prom night, fairwell party, seminars etc in different times in a academic year.
Hostel Facilities :
At the beginning of my college life I was staying in a pg in Salt Lake sector 5 that was near my college so it was easy to go college from pg just 30 minutes of walking distance but as my pg was located in the middle of the city that's why cost of living was high there was everything available but at a high price so I chose to move to another place which would be more pocket friendly and cost efficient so I moved to sonapur and now currently I am leaving in sonapur another reason for leaving my pg was the food they provide in Pg that so bad that most of the time I have to go outside for a better food option

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
