- My faculty is very supportive, understanding, experienced and helpful. They are always there to help you with your academics and other issues within the campus or your personal problems.
- The Campus is not very big but still it is peaceful and soothing. You won't feel frustrated here. The environment is very calm and clean.
Dislikes
- There is no practical training system for psychology students. Although core sciences course have well equipped laboratories but there is no lab for psychology. Psychology is only a theoretical course here.
- Library is not very big. Sometimes we face difficulty in getting required study material as it's already issued to someone or the other.
Remarks :
Many friends and teachers suggest that Amity is a good choice for psychology and I also read articles and reviews over internet which motivated me to go with Amity. During admission, I had to give an interview, which was taken by one of my faculty, it was just a basic intro and some basic questions, not very tough.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm currently doing Bsc in clinical psychology as I wanted to go in clinical psychology field in future. The course curriculum is very well designed. I haven't studied psychology ever before still I am doing very well here. Recently I have appeared in mid terms which were quite difficult, really test a student's knowledge over a subject. There are three examinations during each semester - mid term, end term and objective test. If I talk about facilities, they are really experienced and have good knowledge about the subject. Most of the facilities have earn doctorate degree in their subjects
Placement Experience :
The highest placement package was achieved by a BTech student last year was for ?30 LPA. The placement opportunities are average as the campus is new and only limited companies visits here. But if you hardworking enough, you can achieve it. Opportunities are there.

At the time of admission, I paid Application form: ?500/- Security Amount: ?25000/- First Semester fees: ?64500/- Fee structure for my course( BSc clinical psychology hons.) is For first year, ?129000 ( non sponsored) For second year, ?136000 For third year, ?140000 and for research year (if applicable) ?150000
Campus Life :
Campus is not very big, it's compact. We often have programs, events which give us opportunity to meet new people, experience new things and make college life interesting but I expected a little better.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
