i chose amity because according to me it's the best university around in tricity, it has a certain standard which is what i wanted, i don't like colleges with political parties and where students dont attend classes and also teachers dont teach they just handover the degree, to avoid all of that i chose amity, so i can make sure my money is not going to waste and I'm gaining skills.
The faculty was A class, they really teach the concepts and build the understanding of the topics and subjects. BCA is a practical course and our curriculum made it all practical, i learnt languages more than the btech students, by 2nd year i had great knowledge of Python, Java, R, C,C++ and web development languages. I am proud of my university for making advance and better curriculum than other universities. No other university teachers R language inBCA i.e for data analytics. AUP is one of the universities which follows the recent guidelines for examination pattern i.e..25 marks mid term, 25 marks end term 25 marks presentation, term paper and surprise test and 25 marks for MCQ test. Basically the mid term and end term consists of 5 questions: 4 ques for 5 marks and 1 ques for 9 marks.. mcq test is at the end of every semester, which is held online in labs, it's of 100 marks consisting of 100 questions cumulated to 25 afterwards.
University didn't provided any internships for BCA so i applied it on my own with my father's help and got into Amartam technology pvt ltd but it wasn't useful as university gave 1.5 month time period for internship and no company provides for that time period because no one can learn that much in that specific time period they usually offer 3 month internship.
placement packages were not so high , it went till like 6LPA, but I didn't opted for placement as i planned to do masters degree after my bachelors , I'm completing my masters from amity only , so i expect 10lpa package after my MCA
it started at 76k and increased by 2% per year...which made my degree cost around 4.5lakhs by considering it was of 3 years, Amity provides scholarship if student has scored 90% above in 12th standard.
Campus is really beautiful and gives foreign University vibes therefore the infrastructure is good , it is centrally air conditioned and classrooms are neat and equipped with projectors, white boards. library is super cozy and has all the books you may need.

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
