There was an interview for admission but it was basic knowledge questions based on the course chosen. Moreover the counseling staff is amazing. There were no written tests for admission. Getting admission at amity is easy
Course curriculum is divided into four parts of 25 marks each. First 25 marks consist of surprise tests and projects, next 25-25 marks are mid sem and end sem subjective exams. Last 25 marks are end sem objective exams. Courses are based on credits. Better curriculum as compared to other private colleges
College didn’t help with internships so had to go for internships on our own which was very difficult as college only gave us time of one month whereas it companies require students to do internships for atleast three months
Placement cell is new. Companies do come to our campus but our batch didn’t opt for placements as most of us were to go for higher studies or family business. I joined my family business after bca but i did attend SAP labs placement at amity university noida
Semester fees is 70k each for first two semesters, 73.5k each for third and fourth, 75k each for 5th and sixth sem. I did not receive scholarship but students who score more than 90% in 12th exams get a scholarship at amity
There is founder’s week celebrated every year. Youth fest is celebrated once a year. Halloween, dandiya, lohri, many festivals are also celebrated by dj nights. There are a number of social clubs at amity and many singers also do concerts at our fests
Didn’t apply for hostel but friends did. Rooms are good as the construction is new. Food quality is upto the mark. There’s huge rush in the mess during lunch time so seating should be more. Food quality is good
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
