Remarks :
The college is the oldest college college in odisha . It's since 1956 . It is the most prestigious college in odisha . Our college produces most successful engineers every year with best placement records . The college carrying very big legacy and have a very strong alumni network. The college produced so many successful students who are present and success in their field in various parts of the old. This is the best college based on club cultures in odisha and have helping elaborating the fields in which a student intrested in. The enriched smart classrooms and experienced, high class professors made me get into this college. I also found that it's nearer to my location. The admission to bachelor of technology and bachelor of architecture are based on their jee mains scores . Just prepare for a decent score in jee mains to get into the college. I just did regular studies and preparation to get into this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From 2023 onwards the new education policy implemented in the curriculum which included 6 subjects and 4 lab subjects and a NYSS(NCC , YOGA , SPORTS, SOCIAL SERVICE) for the first year. In the second year in the third sem with core subjects and labs for the branch we have choosen for. I did choose this course because I am confident about the domain tk handle confidently and to make out good enginnering life . professors and lab assistants are experienced highly and are friendly and very good teaching styles and explanations. The professors and assistant professors are came from various prestigious iits and nits , from also prestigious colleges in odisha like utkal University, from foreign universities also associate professor conduct our curriculum. Every year there is two semesters and each semester having two parts that is mid sem which is about 30 marks and end sem about 500 and 20 mark is about the regular assessment. The subsequent cgpa calculated. Labs also have their exams
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in 3rd sem I have not opted for any internship in . I am planning for Winter internship and summer internship at the each end of my semester 3 and 4. I don't have a proper knowledge about internship within my college.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides a good placement opportunities for the students. Students are getting placed in recognised companies like tcs, Infosys, L&t, cognizant, jsw and others whose list goes upto 100s. Each year various new new companies arrive for placement and provide decent placement and improving placement records year by year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees they are taking as a first year student is 48000 rupees as a hostel fees and 31040 rupees as the program fees in which we are enrolled in . This amount is taken for the entire year. From the second year onwards the the fees are taken semester wise where I paid 21825 rupees as tution fees and 17000 rupees as hostel fees for only a semester. Which is all total 43650 rupees for the second year . From which as I am in third semester I have paid 21850 rupees as a tution fees and 17000 as a hostel fees and the same amount I am going to pay for the upcoming semesters. The tuition fees includes for various domains such as library, internet in college, laboratory etc.
Campus Life :
Three fests are conducted each year. The cultural fest , the technical fest and the sports fest . The sports fest generally takes place for 3 days in the last week of January (previously organised) and the technical and cultural fest takes place altogether for 3 days in the last week of March.(Previously organised) . All the fest takes place enthusiastically and students from other. Colleges also visit and participate in the events. The college is having a very large library of 3 floors. The best thing I have got in my college life is the most beautiful Library. The classrooms are smart classrooms which contains a smart board . Classrooms are big and proper benches and tables are provided. Various clubs are presents in the college. cultural clubs like emotica,souls,vibranz technical club like idea and innovation cell , entrepreneurship cell ,veer reaceers , veer racing other clubs like quizzine ,litsoc...the college also have various sports club like cricket, basketball, football.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities for the first year students are quiet good they are generally assigned with pulaha hall of residence with four blocks like pulaha a ,b ,c,d . One room having 3 people. Lifts are provided but they don't work properly. Washing machines are also provided for the first year boarders. From second year onwards boarders are assigned with various other hostels like agastya,kratu, marichi, vashistha, pulastya hall of residence for boys and for girls rohini, vasundhara, vishakha etc.. the facilities are always better for first year students and may be i get better hostle than that on getting to other hostels.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
