- Infrastructure is good, faculties are genuine and extremely helpful. They are improving the infrastructure day by day.
- Campus life is remarkable I must add as every single one of the students is friendly.
Dislikes
- College management is getting worse day by day as number of students are increasing drastically which the college cannot cope up with and office works are often delayed.
- There are only 2 college elevators to support almost 4000 students which has a maximum capacity of 8 students and number of floors is 10 and lift speed is comparatively slow.
Remarks :
There was an interview both during the admission in BBA as well as in MBA. There classes conducted during graduation to influence us to continue MBA from the same college. No written tests were conducted and I got admitted to MBA without CAT exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academics conducted is outstanding without a single doubt and the faculties are outstanding too especially the senior ones but management is very poor in my college as official procedures take time and too less officials for too many students. We have around 1000 students just in MBA and around 4000 students overall in a single campus but have only 2 elevators supporting 8 person. Management is extremely poor and often doesn't stand out as promised.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship in Max Fashion. Role offered to me was Store and department sales which was a 2 month internship with 0 stipend. Project given to us was to run a customer survey to understand their buying patterns, budgets etc.
Placement Experience :
Maximum placement criteria is mentioned by the company themselves during placement drive and not the college but there are few criteria to sit in the placement drive such as 70% and above attendance, proper fees clearance and passing successfully throughout semesters. Maximum placements mention eligibility criteria to be 60% throughout or more but there are exceptions too. Highest package in MBA is 8.6 lakhs and average is 3-4.5 lakhs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In graduation my fees per year was ?300000, however I got a scholarship from my college of ?30000 for scoring 60% and above throughout class 10 & 12. I didn't have such a detailed breakup but each semester we had to pay ?30000-?45000 and an exclusive ?30000+?10000 of first semester fees and ?5000 as booking amount and ?5000 as deposit amount. The fees for everyone was same however they (SC, ST, OBC) were compensated by the government through scholarships and other programs. My graduation was in BBA which had 6 semesters of 3 years. In MBA, my fees is ?595000, however I got ?20000 instant discount as I continued MBA from the same college which made it ?575000. I received ?60000 scholarship from college internally for exceptional performance in BBA. Next I got ?24000 scholarship from SVCM till now and taken ?400000 education loan through students' credit card program and the rest amount is paid by me in cash. Per semester fees is around ?150000.
Campus Life :
Fresher's is conducted for all new students and batch from our college. This is a grand celebration I'm talking about conducted during the month of December. We also conduct a book fest during the International Book Fair etc. Library is full of books and we also have an e-library. Sports and intra-college sports sre conducted and we have a games room consisting of carrom, othello, table tennis etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I do not have any information about the hostel pr it's fees as I didn't opt for it but staying experience was good as per I remember from my friend's perspective and food is considered well. We have a college canteen by Nescafé where food is excellent.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
