- Infrastructure is good classrooms are also good , labs have sufficient amount of equipments,sports facilities are available to enhance our playing skill, faculty are very good they teach us in a way that we could understand all the theories clearly and get ready for exams .
- College fests, freshers farewell party, cultural events , seminars, are very memorable and filled our college life with happy memories.
Dislikes
- A more no. Of class rooms have to be add. Bathrooms of college have to be more clean.
- It takes a lot of time for college authority to give new lab equipments if some of labs equipment gets damaged.
Remarks :
The college is overall very good all the teachers are very helpful after all best college rating of west bengal given by NAAC, A+ rating has been given by NAAC to this college. Labs are good we almost get all equipment that is needed by us for our practical course. Every department has its own gallery room . Sports facilities of college is also good , different types of games such as football, cricket, badminton, table tenis , vollyball etc. we can play in our college grounds on the other hand cricket, football, and all other game tournament occur in our college. Seminar on different topics such as science , journalism, marketing is done in our college that makes easy to us to choose what we want to do in our future. Digital class feature also present here . The admission mainly depends on your class 12 board exam results, no extra test or exam you have to give to get the admission. Overall it's a perfect college for students want to do general graduation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mainly I don't want to do mbbs or engeneering so I choose this course. This college is the best college in the entire north bengal and I am lucky that I got the chance to get admission in this college. All the faculties are highly qualified most of them done their PHD,some done their msc and joined as professor. All the teachers aee very friendly and they teach all the topics very clearly and not only the education but they also give us good advice that we became a responsible citizen of this country. The teaching and completing the syllabus and preparing us for exam is totally 9/10 . Two semesters exams occurred in our college in a year and on beside that two internal or mid term exams also happen in our college that helps us a lot to prepare for final semester exam. The difficulty level of exam is standard that help?us to build our concept more clear.
Internships Opportunities :
I was opted for a intership of BIS which generally makes awareness in between us to buy the good and certified things . And not get into any scam. In this course our main work was to make people aware about the scam and how they can understand which products are good or govt. Certified . And many other workshop, internship of different companies has been done .
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are started in our college from last year a no. Of Students get jobs in different companies, some of student go for higher studies other than getting placements , some of the students prepare for government jobs . A suitable amount has paid for the jobs in college placement such as the monthly salary is in between 30000 to 50000. A good no of students such as 50% of student who go for placement exam get placements. I personally go for government jobs because I want to serve my country and people of the country as a government official.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total yearly fees we have to paid is 3600 as it is a fully govt college, all the tuition fees, caution fees , development fees , lab fees are there. We have to pay around rs. 850 for semester exam per semester and no extra fees other than this are required. We get scholarship like swami vivekananda merit based scholarship which is given by state government, inspire scholarship, National scholarship ship and many other based on your score.
Campus Life :
A cultural fest occurs in our college named Kristi in nearly the month of January after our sem done and freshers party for all new comers held on October. We get a wide variety of books of our course of different renowned authors, besides which we also get books of competitive exam of govt. Jobs and the books which we require for exam to get into good institute for our masters. Every dept. Has its own classroom, gallery room , science based subjects has labs where practical has been done . Digital study system also present in our college. Sports , drama, photography club, cine club, standard clubs are present in our institute. Different types of sports football, cricket, badminton, table tenis, vollyball we play in our college and also inter department tournament occurs of different games . Annual sports program which is mainly athletic program that also occurs. Besides that photo graphic competition, different seminars , movies also shows on our college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
