- Decent infrastructure and adequate facilities - we have clean classrooms, computer labs, moot court, playground and so much more.
- Clean and green ambience : It feels so much close to nature. Despite having good infra we have greenery in our surroundings.
Dislikes
- Irregular classes: The classes are not regular. The timings are also fluctuating.
- Unjust fund collection: college asks for funds from us in the name of unnecessary and irrelevant courses, some event or so. The administration justifies that it is mandatory and failing so will affect the students internal asessment.
Remarks :
Reputation: Kingston Law College has a good reputation plus it is known for its faculty. Affordability: Compared to other private law colleges the fees here are a bit lower. Admission Process: Kingston Law College does not take any admission test. Any student who secured 45+ percent in their 10+2 examination is eligible for admission. Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BBA+LLB because it is highly rewarding. By completing this course one can venture into Corporate law or IP law. Some of the faculty members are quite experienced and they explain complex topics lucidly. However, not every faculty is experienced and that much good in the field. Our college takes an internal exam before every semester which means 2 internals every year. The difficulty level is intermediate i.e. a student needs to study to pass these exams. Some of the questions are quite challenging. The course fee is 4,20,000 rupees. The cost of books, and stationaries are additional. College helps in providing scholarship to students who are from economically weaker sections. The students must score above 60 percent in their semesters and maintain a 75 percent attendance.
Placement Experience :
Some recruiters are: Bajaj Allianz, Nestle, Godrej, Hero motors, L&T, Amazon, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki, Aditya and Birla group, HSBC, Tata group, Philips Carbon Black Limited, Keventer, Flipkart and Novartis.
Campus Life :
The name of our college fest is "Kingstoxication". A variety of activities takes place in the fest including a fashion show, standup comedy, sketches, and a music festival. It is held around or in the January-February period every year. Our law college has a library full of relevant academic books and research journals. Every semester students can access it on alternate days. A sports day, an inter-college football competition, and a marathon event are conducted yearly. Sports clubs and cultural and music clubs are made to encourage co-curricular activities. Teachers run them as well. Hostels have decent accommodation and they are not too expensive. They have CCTV cameras, 24/7 electricity, A.C. and much more. Food quality is average but the price is reasonable. You can get a full meal for just 45 rupees which is quite affordable.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
