Remarks :
Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is one of the oldest colleges of Odisha it was established in 1956. It was the first engineering college of Odisha. After NITs and IITs this college gives the best placements in core branches.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum here is very focused on the overall development of the student in one semester of the 1st year this college offers a subject named ETW(English for Technology writing) which helps the students to improve their speaking as well as writing skills in English. The faulty here are very trained and qualified most of them have done PhD in IITs. The also use smart boards which helps the students to get a virtual aid in some topics.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have opted for internship in MCL(Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited). TCS and Infocis also gives good internships. Our college VSSUT gives wonderful Internship in Hirakud Dam power plant and MCL which are very prestigious.
Placement Experience :
In my branch that is Electrical Engineering here the placement is quite good median package here is 7Lakhs. If no campus placement is offered then I can apply for OPSC for Junior engineering post which is a government job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee Structure are given as follows In one semester one has to pay approx Rs.17750 if he is a day scholar student and does not avail TFW, and a TFW day scholar will pay Rs.11750 there are also self financing day scholar whose fees are Rs. 41750(non-TFW) anda 19250(TFW). The fees are not increasing. It has been same for the last 3-4years.
Campus Life :
The campus has an area of 500acres which makes Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology one of the largest engineering colleges in India. It has a separate club buildings for all the clubs. Infrastructure is fantastic large auditoriums which can accommodate 1000students at a time.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels fee of VSSUT is 35000. The condition of the hostel is very good in one room there are 3 students residing. The mess here cook hygiene food and the sanitary department cleans the whole hostel everyday. The bathroom and toilet conditions are excellent.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
