Course Curriculum Overview :
Mbbs is a dream course for science students..so for me also. The faculties of our colleges have done M.D. in that particular subject and sone faculty have done PHD also...All faculties are doctors Teaching style is not so attractive but very informative In 4.5 years of MBBS course(theory) 9 semester exams occured in the duration of approx 3 months The Semester exams are tough but not so important. But at the end of the year the final proff exam is moderate and so so important
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College fee-9000 Session fee-22 Hostel fee-144 This is a Government medical College so no management quota The annual fee is very less and same for all categories. Government Scholarship- 1.Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum scholarship ( family income must be less than 2.5 lakh and student should take admission in college in 2 year after 12th exam) 2. Aikyashree( family income less than 3 lakh and available for all the students) And there are many non government scholarship also but very less number of students get it.

Food quality - Average Menu - Veg and non veg both types of canteen available Max students eats rice and roti Fish chicken mutton egg paneer all available Hostel registration - A registration form have to be filled Then the college authority decides who should get hostel Family income and distance of college from home this two factors are taken for giving hostel Yes there are many PG available in affordable price But these PG don't provide food

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
