- The over all infrastructure was quite very stunning and calm, the campus life was a memorable one for me
- Teaching and students faculties are very honestly helpful, they handle with care if a new comer is in trouble
Dislikes
- Behavior of Group d workers are not tolerable, they should be more polite
- The institution should more emphasize on sports quta and health services towards students
Remarks :
It is one of the ragging free colleges under calcutta university for ug courses, the teacher and students faculties are very reliable, humble and helpfull towards the new comers, i have a good and satisfactory result in board exan so i got chance here automatically
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was quite good in English from 8 th standard, the professors are greatly educated, they help us with their handmate notes according to the curriculum, so that it may help us during main exams, lectures are quite understandable
Internships Opportunities :
Yes i was among the students who got chance in internship programme but i was not selected in the campaign because my spoken English was not as good as now, i faced the problem as English is ot my mother tongue
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for the internship campaign from the middle of the 2 nd year, atleast 45- 50% students charm the interviewers by their presentations and they are offered a salary range of atleast 7-10 LPA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Students have to pay a total sum of 2340 rupees for a year in English Honours, eligibility criteria for west bengal students are about 60% marks in Higher secondary and for the outsider of west bengal one should appear in entrance exam of calcutta university, the college offers 3 years of graduation programme for the ug students and they give chance atleast 70 or 80 students to take admission there, you can avail any type of scholarship if you are a regular student under ug, Swami Vivekananda sholarship, kanyashree, jubashree as well as other state government scholarship programmes comes under this stage, while central government also help by their programmes, caste categories play a great role in this selection process, which help the students of lower economic situation to achieve something fruitful, total tuition fees - 6140,course level - ug degree, mode of course - full time, seat for admission - 70 or 80, Total duration - 3 years.
Campus Life :
My campus life was not so boaring, the atmosphere of the campus was helpful both for study and play, we celebrated freshers as well as frest to give enjoy ment, the library section was also very standard with collections of books on various topics
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel section for the students as the transportation system is very good, you can go anywhere of west bengal you need from the nearby transportation services, as well as the mess system outside the campus are very much available in low prices

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
