Remarks :
I chose Shyam Lal College for its strong academics, especially in B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics, and its affiliation with DU. I secured admission through the CUET exam without any GD, interview, or written test.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics course offers a well-structured curriculum. Faculties are highly qualified, use engaging teaching methods, and ensure timely exams with a moderate difficulty level.
Placement Experience :
Mainly the placements are provided to other courses like B.Com(Hons.), B.A.(Hons), etc. Some of the students in our course get job opportunities and other started preparation for govt. Exam last year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee for B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics at Shyam Lal College is ?29,000, with a steady annual increase due to rising costs. Scholarships and waivers are available for eligible students studying in first year only.
Campus Life :
Campus life is vibrant with active clubs, sports, and annual fests. The library offers a wide range of books and journals. Classrooms are well-equipped, and students engage in sports, cultural events, and self-run clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility provided by the college. If you come from a far away region then you have to stay in PG near college or anywhere you feel comfortable. As hostel fees can't be be empty so I am writing PG rent per year.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
