The main point to taken admission in this college was it was a college of university of Delhi and the second point was it was close to my home other than any other du college. For admission one have to give the Cuet and on the basis of merit admission has taken.
Basically I have interest in commerce so I decided to taken commerce stream instead of science. So I choose b.com hons. Which is famous in du. The faculty was very good they listen to your problems calmly and give a proper solution to you. There qualifications was very high. In the year exams held twice a year which is good. The difficulty level was so good.
I don't have any internships but my friend had one. Various companies comes when placement cell organise college placement fair like Amazon, Deloitte, and some small startups. The stipend was range between 5k to 15k
Student from 1 year can eligible to internship but the placement are only for third year or fourth year students. Every year our college's placement cell organizes a placement fair oin march. The average package was about 7 LPA. Highest package was 13 LPA from Deloitte. About 60% of student gets college placement. I don't have any internships because I had back in my semester 1 this is bad but u have to learn from your failures. I have many plans after graduation sorry but I can't discuss.
So Hello everyone this is arsh. The total fee of first year was 24700 and for second year it was 25800 that means it increasing every year. It includes total cost of year except the exam fees which is paid every semester. Unfortunately there is no scholarship or financial aid to student who resides outside of Delhi.
The du was famous for their fest that held in January to February. The du was famous for their social gatherings almost every person know about this. Second thing was infrastructure of the college which is quite good enough. SLC of uod was famous for its sports and extracurricular activities. There are many societies in the college like for dance, drama, etc. but the main cons was the college library which doesn't have new books all books was so old about 10 to 5 years old.
I don't opted for hostel because I travel from my home. But my friend has live in hostel so their experience was decent the hostel gates was closed after 10 pm. So this a problem for night hangout in Delhi and the food of the hostel was decent.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
